Prof.Roongroj Bhidayasiri Graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree. Chulalongkorn University in 1994 and received a certificate of medical specialization. in Internal Medicine from the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland in 1998 and received a certificate as a specialist in psychology and neurology. In addition, he received the Distinguished Medical Degree in the field of Internal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians of London and the Republic of Ireland in 2008 and 2010.
In 2005, he began working at the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, and was appointed as an Assistant Professor. He was later promoted to Associate Professor on September 4, 2006, and was subsequently honored with the position of Professor, Level A-1/11.

Prof.Roongroj has received research grants from various funding sources, both domestic and international, to study Parkinson's disease and movement disorders. He has also been actively involved in disseminating useful research information to the medical community, patients, and caregivers. He has published more than 100 research articles in internationally recognized academic journals. Additionally, he holds patents for several innovations, including laser cane, a device for measuring and analyzing tremors, and a tool for assessing the movement of patients, among others. Through his continuous research and inquiry, Prof.Roongroj has gained recognition both nationally and internationally.
